چکیده
In this paper we report some recent advances regarding applications using the method of finite spheres; a truly meshfree numerical technique developed for the solution of boundary value problems on geometrically complex domains. First, we present the development of a preprocessor for the generation of nodal points on twodimensional computational domains. Then, the development of a specialized version of the method of finite spheres using point collocation and moving least squares approximation functions and singular weight functions is reported for rapid computations in virtual environments involving multi-sensory (visual and touch) interactions.

Numerical Modeling and Experimental Study of Probe-Fed Rectangular Dielectric Resonator Antenna (RDRA) Supported by Finite Circular Ground Plane
Dielectric Resonator Antennas (DRAs) have received increased interest in recent years for their potential applications in microwave and millimeter wave communication systems. DRAs are normally used with the support of a ground plane. The radiation and impedance properties therefore depend not only on their physical dimensions and dielectric properties, but also on the size of the ground plane. ...

In this paper, we use the hybrid h-p version of the finite element method to study the effect of an open transverse crack on the vibratory behavior of rotors, the one-dimensional finite element Euler-Bernoulli beam is used for modeling the rotor, the shape functions used are the Hermite cubic functions coupled to the special Legendre polynomials of Rodrigues. The global matrices of the equation...
